Highlights July 2018

In July we made the most of the heatwave: we headed to rooftop bar Skylight to watch the nail-biting World Cup matches unfold; to new opening BOTTLES in Old Spitalfields for a glass of crisp Prosecco and to Athenian for Mamma Mia!-inspired souvlaki. This summer, London has given us no reason to want to be anywhere else.

Here are just a few of our highlights from one incredible month:

Meryl Streep beams from every Tube station billboard, flanked by Stellan Skarsgård, Pierce Brosnan and a somewhat bewildered-looking Colin Firth (#FreeColin). Dancing Queen blares from a specially erected "immersive experience" in Victoria station. Everyone is suddenly wearing dungarees. The summer belongs to Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, and by extension all things Greek.
