March At Kapranos PR

March was a great month for us here at KPR. With the launch of the newest Barrio venue in vibrant Brixton, a beautiful cookery school at Bourne & Hollingsworth Buildings, the new Cocktail Trading Company Brick Lane, a weekend-long festival of cocktails and the inaugural Literary Salon at The Savoy, it was also a busy month!

As we welcome in April, here's a round-up of the best bits…

1. The stunning new botanical haven that is B&H Kitchen cookery school was featured in Living Etc March issue:

2. ES Magazine suggested taking part in Bourne & Hollingsworth Building's Last Libations tasting and banquet which focused on the unusual Irish tipple Poitin, in celebration of St Paddy's Day:

3. In their April issue Esquire gave away the secret of Coin Laundry’s seventies-inspired Snowball in a fun and nostalgic retro cocktails feature:

4. Beer and whisky are perfect booze brothers and Evening Standard mentioned The Gallery's boilermakers in a piece about the revival of this legendary pairing:

5. Clerkenwell Post feature a delicious recipe for Lara’s Brixham Crab Doughnuts from Ask for Janice’s spring menu in their March issue:

6. After attending Damian Barr’s first Literary Salon at The Savoy, Anna Bloomfield wrote this fantastic feature for Vanity Fair A List:

7. GQ headed down to Cocktail Trading Company Smithfield Market to sample some of their weird and wonderful cocktails, and they loved it so much they did this eye catching two page feature:

8. This year’s Cocktails in the City turned out to be one of the most talked about cocktail events of the year, with the stunning One Mayfair venue definitely adding that extra special factor, so it's no surprise Shortlist chose to include the event in their selective 'To Do List'. You will also be able to spot one of other clients, Jay Rayner, in this piece. We are helping promote the renowned critic's current UK tour of 'My Dining Hell' and 'A Night Of Food And Agony'

9. Le Cool soaked up some great vibes when they visited Hackney favourite Kansas Smitty's, so much so that they included it in their great jazz in London roundup:

10. Evening Standard introduced readers to London's exciting 'International Jazz Day' lineup with a great feature showcasing Broadway Market bar Kansas Smitty's and seriously cool saxophonist YolanDa:
