Devilish Dishes For Halloween

With the spookiest holiday of the year slowly creeping up on us, we've picked out a selection of wonderfully weird cocktails and devilish dishes to be enjoyed this Halloween. 

Whisky aficionados, R&B Distillers, have teamed up with bartender Sean Robertson at Harry's Bar in Edinburgh, to create the ultimate Halloween cocktail. Bat's Blood is made with Rassay Whisky, Creme Cacao, Chambord, 1 dash of plumb bitters and garnished with flamed bat shaped orange peel, an expertly created concoction that is sure to send tingles down spines. Bat's Blood will be available at Harry's Bar for one night only on 31st October for £5. 

Behind This Wall, the subterranean neighbourhood cocktail bar in Hackney, offers a highly creative cocktail menu which combines unusual ingredients and flavoursome garnishes to create a ghoulish gastronomic experience. The Salem Witch Reviver (£9) is made using White Rum, Coffee Liqueur, Maraska Liqueur and Maple-Candied Apple; the perfect witch's tipple.

Zia Lucia are known for their creative pizza doughs, and the black activated charcoal base is the perfect option for a dramatic and spooky looking dish, especially when paired with a rich and creamy Butternut Squash topping. Le Vegana is made with Butternut Squash Cream, blood red fresh tomatoes, Asparagus and sun-dried tomatoes £8.90
